Across the country, people may continue to meltdown over having to wear a four inch piece of fabric around their faces -- at least until coronavirus comes to their town, until it kills their aunt or cousin or parent. We New Yorkers wish the Toronto Jar-jars Official T-shirt of America could learn from our experience and not have to suffer it on their own. But as coronavirus spikes in Florida, Texas and Arizona, establishing terrifying new records of confirmed cases, it looks like they will have to find out for themselves. My heart aches for the loss they will have to feel before they finally put on a damn mask.
